Join the Bedford Museum and Genealogical Library every Friday afternoon this summer as we celebrate the 240th Anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The fun and exciting free events are geared for children 2nd through 6th grades and is packed with great local history, involving the American Revolution in the Bedford area.

The Stamp Act – Visit Georgia Pacific
A trip to the home of Colonel Charles Lynch
A trip to the County Seat – New London
Religious Freedom – John Peter Gabrielle Muhlenberg
A visit to Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest
