DESCRIPTION:The theme this year is “Down Home Country Christmas”.   Come and see all the different decorated trees inside. You can also vote for your favorite tree\, voting is just $1.00 per vote.  All proceeds of the winning trees will be donated to their selected charities. \nThe Welcome Center will be closed Thanksgiving\, Christmas Eve\, and Christmas Day.   \nThe Welcome Center will be closing at 12 noon on New Year’s Eve and will be closed on New Year’s Day.    \nSpecial Hours: Open until 9:00pm on Friday\, December 2\, 2016\, Friday\, December 9\, 2016\, Saturday\, December 10\, 2016\, Sunday\, December 11\, 2016 and Friday\, December 16\, 2016.

DESCRIPTION:Happy Holidays! \nBooks 4 Fun and Rock-A-Bye Reader story times will resume at the end of January. \nAll Bedford Public Library System branches are closed on the following days: Friday\, December 23rd through Monday\, December 26th and Saturday\, December 31st through Monday\, January 2nd. \nBedford Business\nTuesday\, December 20th brings us Family Movie Night. We are showing Finding Dory (PG)\, starring Pixar’s unforgettable forgetful fish! Enjoy crafts at 4:45 and the movie at 5PM. Snacks provided! The movie’s running time is 1 hour 45 minutes. We hope to see you there! \nShow your family and friends that you care by making them a unique holiday card at the library between 4-5PM on Wednesday\, December 21st! We’ll provide the materials for you to create cards for everyone on your list. \nJoin us in the new year of 2017 for more great library programs! \nCome back to the library on Wednesday\, January 4th. Between 4:15 and 5:30 PM\, teens and tweens between the ages of 11-19 are invited to participate in Fashion Club. Learn about the world of fashion\, how to create your own designs\, and do cool Do It Yourself projects to make or repurpose your own clothing. Materials are provided\, but you may also bring your own. Our December program is the perfect time to make a fashionable holiday gift for a loved one. From now on\, the Fashion Club will be meeting twice a month on the first and fourth Wednesday of the month. \nOn Thursday\, January 19th\, come to the library at 4PM to learn about our 3-D printer. After this introduction\, teens ages 13 through young adult are able to being making reservations to create their own masterpieces using this cutting edge technology. Days available for 3-D printing use will be Monday through Thursday between the hours of 4PM and 5:15PM. Due to complexity and time for print\, only one or two prints can be made in a day. \nForest Fun\nStart off the new year of 2017 with something familiar! Come to the Forest Library for our Dinosaur Club. Drop by between 4:30-5:30 PM on Thursday\, January 5th for this exclusive program. Kids ages 6+ can learn fascinating facts about these prehistoric creatures from a real dinosaur expert in this monthly club. Visit the library or call (540) 425-7002 to register. \nMoneta Merriment\nMark your calendar for Thursday\, December 29th; the Moneta/SML Library is showing Finding Dory (PG)\, a fun and adventurous sequel to Finding Nemo. Arrive at 5:30 PM for crafts\, and enjoy snacks and the movie at 6PM. The running time is 1 hour 45 minutes. \nBig Island Antics\nCome to the library for Tuesday Teen Time after the holiday break! On December 27th we are playing games and snacking on junk food from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. \nCome back in the new year of 2017 for our Friday Film\, The Angry Birds Movie (PG). Join us at 3PM on January 6th for this animated movie inspired by the popular game\, and enjoy a free snack! \nMontvale Marvels\nCome by the Montvale Library for Teen Night on Friday\, January 6th!
