DESCRIPTION:Lisa was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area\, after a short time in the Fine Arts program at San Jose State; she chose to make her living in Commercial Art\, receiving her degree at a private Art School. She began her career in 1979 at the age of 15 and it has served her well all her life. She and her husband Dale of 28 years\, have a daughter Julia (26)\, and a son Jesse (24)\, who were home schooled and they have worked as a family all over the United States. Both their children are have been doing it all for their living as well! \nFor 38 years\, Lisa has created literally thousands of works in all sizes\, styles\, mediums\, and subjects of canvas art\, murals\, faux finishes\, signs\, and much\, much more! They now call Smith Mountain Lake their home since 2004. \nLisa is most passionate about how her artwork touches lives & transforms spaces\, ministering to the soul\, making that emotional connection – which is the subject of this solo show! “Art Evokes Emotion” and these pieces truly will. Hope you can come see them in person! \nThe Electric Company Art Gallery on 207 E.
