DESCRIPTION:The USA Patriots\, formerly known as the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team\, will be returning to Bedford as part of their Virginia Tour for a special game on Friday evening\, May 3 at 6 p.m.  This is a free event for kids and adults of all ages.  Bring your family and friends to watch an exciting 7 inning game against a local team.  Game will be played at the Bedford Moose Lodge\, field #1. \n The USA Patriots are comprised of competitive\, athletic veterans who have lost limbs in combat and non-combat related accidents.  Some are still in service; others are attending college thanks to the Post-9/11 GI Bill while others have moved on to new careers.  The team travels the country playing able-bodied teams in competitive and exhibition softball games\, bringing their special brand of softball\, courage\, and inspiration. \n For more information\, visit www.usapatriotsamputeesoftball.org\, or call Andy Dooley at (540) 330-9635. \n \n  \n
