DESCRIPTION:Commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Leyte Gulf\, join National D-Day Memorial Director of Education John Long as he explores the largest naval battle of World War II\, and arguably world history. This battle would also include the first use of organized kamikaze attacks and would be the last between battleships. \nOur Lunchbox Lecture Series is free of charge\, although donations are appreciated. Guests are welcome to bring a lunch to enjoy during the programs. If you are not able to attend\, each lecture is also available in real-time and following the event through Facebook Live.
