DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday\, October 29\, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. as we celebrate 15 years since opening our doors in Bedford! The Bedford Area Welcome Center opened on October 29\, 2004\, and was referred to as the flagship for future Visitor Centers throughout the Commonwealth. It received the American Crown Community Award presented by American City and County Magazine – the judges had never before seen a visitor center that was also designed to serve the community. It was the first visitor center to ever make the list!\nToday we continue to serve this community – its residents\, businesses\, and visitors to the area. Stop by and learn more about Destination Bedford\, enjoy live music\, giveaways\, free apples\, cider tasting\, and Waffle Mania food truck will have food for purchase.\nThe Central Virginia Business Coalition (CVABC) will do a business dedication at 11 a.m. The CVABC and Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce will both be on-hand with information about upcoming events and membership opportunities!
