DESCRIPTION:Take time to honor all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces during this special event. \nProgram will include:\n• Keynote address by D-Day historian and author\, Peter Caddick-Adams\n• Patriotic music and art display from Bedford Elementary School\n• Dedication of the latest installation of veteran bricks\n• Recognition of all veterans in attendance\n• Book signing following the ceremony of “Sand and Steel: A New History of D-Day\,” the newest book by Peter Caddick-Adams \nGuests are asked to bring their own chair. No coolers or pets with the exception of service animals. \nSpeaker Information:\nPeter Caddick-Adams\, is a well-known author\, military historian\, battlefield tour guide\, broadcaster\, and defense analyst from the United Kingdom. An accomplished speaker on the international scene\, he is the author of Monty and Rommel: Parallel Lives (2011)\, Monte Cassino: Ten Armies in Hell (2012)\, Snow and Steel: The Battle of the Bulge (2014) and most recently the epic Sand and Steel: A New History of D-Day (2019).
