DESCRIPTION:During this program we will take a closer look at evergreens. Come join us and learn the difference between conifers and evergreens\, how conifers are classified\, and how to identify some of our local evergreen trees and shrubs! Take to the woods\, study plant specimens\, and make sketches and notes in field notebooks like real botanists.\nThe program will take place at several locations along our trail system near the river. Activities and content are geared towards children ages 5-14.\nThe program will take place from 1pm-2pm.
