SUMMARY:Festival of Trees
DESCRIPTION:Festival of Trees at the Bedford Area Welcome Center is an annual event that takes place around the end of November through the first week of January. “A Storybook Christmas” is the theme for this year. The event will feature trees that are decorated by local businesses and organizations. Visitors are encouraged to come by the Welcome Center and vote for their favorite tree(s) for only $1.00/vote. At the conclusion of the event\, all proceeds will benefit the charitable organizations designated by the businesses.  There are no winners and no losers of this event\, everyone has an equal opportunity to raise money for their selected charity and they will keep whatever amount they raise. The Festival of Trees is a festive family friendly event to celebrate the season while helping causes important to the community.

DESCRIPTION:As twilight deepens and obscured the Blue Ridge\, the Memorial will honor the 4\,415 men killed on D-Day. Arranged throughout the grounds\, thousands of luminarias will shine in recognition of Overlord’s fallen and in tribute to the ultimate sacrifice each made to relight the lamp of freedom. \n\n\n\nAdmission is free. Donations are welcome.\n\n\nPurchase a luminaria for 2021 here.

DESCRIPTION:The Bower Center is proud to host The Ronn McFarlane & Carolyn Surrick\, who will be singin your favorite Christmas carols!  The doors will open at 5:30pm with the concert beginning at 6. The concert will be two 40 minute segments with a 10 minute intermission.
