DESCRIPTION:Come see this awesome exhibit by Ken Smith who is an illustrator\, painter\, graphic designer and college professor\, among other things.\nKen has been a professor of Graphic Design at Radford University since 2008\, and is an avid history buff\, designer\, illustrator\, reenactor\, living historian\, and a proud native of the great state of Tennessee.\nFormerly he was Design Director/Vice President at Whittle Communications\, where he designed and developed magazines\, books\, posters and various other media properties. Ken was co-founder and Creative Director of Media South\, a design and marketing firm specializing in editorial media and corporate branding.\nGallery admission is free.

DESCRIPTION: \n\n\n\nMilepost Music brings the the Blue Ridge Music Center to locations along the Parkway. \n\n\n\n\nPeaks of Otter concerts are held the first Sunday of the month\, June through September. Concerts are held outdoors in the area between the restaurant and the lodge\, near the banks of Abbott Lake with an incredible view of Sharptop Mountain. In case of rain the concert may be moved to the event room at the restaurant. \nVisitors can stay the night at historic Peaks of Otter Lodge\, eat in the restaurant\, take a stroll around Abbott Lake\, or hike a trail. There is also a campground at Peaks of Otter. \nThis is a great event for the whole family ! Click here to see which band is playing each month.  \n\n
