DESCRIPTION:RAY JUDD’S MUSIC IN THE PARK\n\n\nFRIENDS OF SMITH MOUNTAIN STATE PARK are sponsoring 2022 Summer Bluegrass Music Series on the 4th Saturday in May\, June\, July and August.\n\n\nTake a warm Smith Mountain Lake Saturday night\, add a scenic waterfront setting and toe-tapping music at SML State Park to enjoy a casual outdoor evening of classic bluegrass and country music with friends and family. The performances are scheduled at 8 p.m. at the park’s beach pavilion. This summer the bands to perform are:\n\n\nMay 28 – Two Young Two Old\nJune 25 – The Wildfire Band\nJuly 23 – The Country Boys\nAugust 27 – The Hardtimes Band\n\n\nThe performing bands will be accompanied by the Old Dominion Cloggers dance group with a combination of freestyle flat-footin and clogging steps to “Old Time or Bluegrass” style music.\n\n\nThe cost is $7.00 per person. There is no parking fee. Children 12 and under get in for free.\nFolding chairs are suggested.
