Potluck style dinner at 6pm (bring a main or side dish and then plates/cups/silverware for yourselves) with instruction starting around 6:45pm led by Bedford’s Parks and Recreation Outdoor Event and Outreach Coordinator Lee Wittekind. Whether you want to know foods to eat in a survival situation\, want a quick trail snack while hiking\, or want to make a small meal\, this class will get you started in safely identifying and preparing common plants in our area. Meet at Falling Creek Park inside the pavilion next to the playground. Families and children are encouraged!
