A visit to Johnson Farm is a chance to take a step back in time into a 1930s era Appalachian mountain farm to get a taste of how life then compares to life now. Just as our generation will one day pass into history, the Johnson Farm allows us to look back into a past era of families that grew and gathered almost all they needed on the slopes of Harkening Hill.
