The Navigating Nature program will help your child foster a sense of environment awareness and build valuable outdoors skills. Throughout this day-long program, they will teach students how to identify sources of water and build makeshift survival filters, how to build a warm and water-resistant shelter, how to read a compass and make a map, and how to gather appropriate tinder material for building a fire. The day will conclude with a survival challenge game where children put their skills to the test. The survival challenge will require teamwork, planning, and creativity and is sure to be a memorable experience!

The program will take place at several locations along the trail system. Activities and content are geared towards children ages 8-12.
