“Biding Time” at Goose Creek Studio on 2nd Friday

Artist Shelley Koopmann creates small yet captivating oil paintings of ordinary people doing ordinary things like taking a snooze in a beach chair or checking email on a cellphone. During the month of January, a collection of these image titled “Biding Time” will be featured in the Old Jail Hill Art Space on the 2nd floor at Goose Creek Studio.
A reception with the artist will be held on 2nd Friday, January 13, 5:00-8:00 pm.
In addition to Koopmann’s paintings, on the first floor there will also be new work by a number of local artisans including Nancy Blankenship (pottery), Deena Ruiz (lampwork jewelry), Timothy Parker (photography), Des Black (woodworking), Linda Black (fiber art), and Jaret Peerson (photography).
