In this moving ceremony, the National D-Day Memorial pays special tribute to those who are Missing in Action or who endured a Prisoner of War experience.
The highlight of 2019’s ceremony will be a variety of speakers who will read the names of over 200 Virginians who are still listed as Missing in Action from the Korea and Vietnam War.
The event will also include a special Missing Man ceremony presented by Rolling Thunder Chapter 4 from Lynchburg, wreath laying, and music by Rick Dellinger.
ADMISSION IS FREE UNTIL NOON.
Guests are asked to bring their own chairs.
No coolers or pets, except for service animals.
