Beyond Likeness – Breaking Boundaries in Portraiture 
A portrait is a painting, photograph, sculpture, or other artistic representation of a person. Some portraits are a mere likeness of the subject, while others tell a story, express an emotion, or touch on some universal truth. More than a dozen local artists have accepted the challenge to create the latter type narrative portrait using a wide range of materials and artistic styles for a new show at Goose Creek Studio.
A reception with the artists will be held during 2nd Friday in Bedford, May 11, 5-8 pm. Goose Creek Studio Gallery and Custom Framing is located at 302 Court Street in Bedford.
