Archaeology Behind-the-Scenes Tours

Ever wondered what it would be like to work on the archaeology of Mr. Jefferson’s retreat home? Join Poplar Forest’s archaeologists on a walking tour of the plantation grounds to see and hear firsthand what their work has taught them about Jefferson’s original landscape. Tours will conclude with a visit to the Poplar Forest Archaeology Lab, where visitors can view some of the artifacts discovered on the property.

There will be 4 tours available:
—11:00 a.m.
—12:00 p.m.
—1:00 p.m.
—2:00 p.m.

Admission is included with general admission, but reservations are suggested due to limited space available. For more information or to reserve your spot, call the Museum Shop at 434.534.8120.
