Join the National D-Day Memorial Foundation as it dedicates three more of the “Bedford Remembers” plaques in Centertown Bedford in tribute to the sacrifices made by this community in World War II, and especially on D-Day. The plaque dedications and reception are free and open to the public.

Plaque Dedication Locations and Times:

3:10 p.m. Fisher’s Restaurant, 503 4th Street
3:35 p.m. Liberty Station, 515 Bedford Avenue
4:00 p.m. Former Green’s Drug Store, 104 N. Bridge Street

Following the plaque dedications, join us at the Bower Center for the Arts (305 N. Bridge Street) for a reception and preview of the “Bedford Boys Homefront Tour” with 1940s music and costumed interpreters from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Refreshments will be available.
