You are invited to attend a very special historical event beginning at 6:15pm on Tuesday, June 6^th, the 79^th Anniversary of D-Day. The Bedford Boys Tribute Center will be hosting its 3rd Annual Ivy Wreath Laying ceremony at the Bedford Boys Memorial Stone on the west lawn of the County Courthouse in downtown historic Bedford. Precisely at 6:44pm the ceremony will conclude with the courthouse bell being rung in tribute to our beloved Bedford Boys killed in action and all churches in the county will ring their bells for one minute. The ceremony concluding time signifies June 6, 1944, the invasion date. Bring your children and grandchildren to show and teach them the history behind the statement that “Freedom is not Free” and our Bedford Boys will never be forgotten.
