“In 1899, twin albino African American young men were kidnapped from nearby Franklin County and put in the circus. They performed for all types of people including royalty. Local author Beth Macy shares this story and their brave mothers fight to get them back in her new book “Truevine”.
Beth will share this amazing story at the Bedford Museum and Genealogical Library on Saturday February 4, 2017 at 2 PM on the 3rd floor of the Museum. The event is free and open to the public. Givens Books will be on hand selling books.
The Bedford Museum & Genealogical Library is located at 201 E. Main St. in the heart of Centertown Bedford. There is an elevator available and plenty of parking.
