The Bower Center will host an awards reception for the 8th Annual Edna Curry/John Bower exhibit on the evening of Friday, February 11 in the Sara Braaten Gallery. 43 artists from five states (VA, SC, NC, IL, KS) submitted 112 artworks, include painting, fiber, sculpture, mosaics, photography, mixed media, collage, and stained glass. The judge’s comments, followed by the award and recognition presentations, will begin at 6 p.m.
Artworks in the 8th Annual Edna Curry /John Bower exhibit are in both the Sara Braaten Gallery & Lobby and Terrace Gallery/Lobby, plus the main entrance lobby, and will be displayed through Saturday, March 12.
