Have you wondered what meals were like during World War II both on the warfront and at home with rationing? Using recipes and ration kits from the National D-Day Memorial’s archives, join the Education Department staff as they discuss cooking during the 1940s and even taste test recipes and rations.
This is an online program only available through Facebook Live on the National D-Day Memorial’s Facebook page, as well as our YouTube channel, and will not be held at the National D-Day Memorial. Recordings will be available on Facebook and YouTube following the conclusion of the program for viewing at a later date and time.
