October 18–19, 2025 | Ivy Hill Golf Club
The world’s best disc golfers are coming back to Bedford County and Lynchburg for the 10th Anniversary Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) Championship — the thrilling season finale of the sport’s premier professional tour.
After a season spanning 23 tournaments across 15 states and five countries, the top 52 players in the world will compete for the title of DGPT Champion and a purse of over $250,000. Fans can expect four exciting days of competition featuring elite athletes, scenic courses, and a vibrant spectator experience.
Locations:
- New London Tech (Bedford County)
- Ivy Hill Golf Club (Bedford County)
Spectator opportunities include:
- Playing Ivy Hill before the pros on Thursday or Sunday
- A dedicated spectator course at Ivy Hill (Wednesday–Sunday)
- Vessi Ace Competition for fans
A separate amateur tournament with 300+ players will run alongside the Championship, The Amateur Challenge (formerly known as “Battle for Bedford”). This gives local and visiting players a chance to play on the same courses as the pros. This will be held October 17-19, and registration closes on October 14.
This major event marks the continued growth of disc golf tourism in our region, and there’s more to come! The PDGA Champions Cup returns to New London Tech in April 2026, and Bedford County & Lynchburg will host the DGPT Championship again in October 2026.
