Family Spring Day at Wharton Garden

This family-friendly event is provided free of charge by the Bedford Public Library Foundation and the Wharton Garden Foundation.
Activity tables will be set up in the Wharton Garden and inside the Library, where families can create crafts, practice gardening, and much more. Challenge your parents to a game of lawn chess or explore the newest addition to the area, the Melody Garden.
Activities included…
– Create Your Own Succulent Dish Garden!
– Liberty FFA will be bringing baby goats!
– Bookmark Craft using plant pounding technique with real plants and flowers!
– Carnival-style games, including our Duck Pond with PRIZES!
– Make and take crafts, including making pinwheels and faux watercolor prints!
– Free picnic snacks and snow cones!
– Movie – Springtime with Roo in the Community Room at 12:30 PM with Popcorn!
– Make Your Own Tea Blend Workshop in the Community Room at 2:00 PM with certified Herbalist Cassandra Baldwin!
Families are welcome to bring their own picnic lunch from home Or grab a to-go lunch from one of the restaurants in town.
No registration is required (except for the tea program); drop in any time during the event.
