If hand lettering has ever caught your eye and piqued your interest, but you just weren’t sure where to start, then this workshop is for you! Come for the afternoon and learn the basics of this soothing and beautiful art form. We’ll talk about tools of the trade, learn the lettering alphabet, and I’ll even point out some masters of the craft that you can follow along with for continued inspiration! All the supplies that you’ll need will be provided, along with some takeaway drill sheets, too…so you can keep practicing long after the workshop is over!

To top it off, we’ll work on lettering a small take-home project that you can display to show off your new-found skills. So come and have a fun, relaxing time learning the lettering basics with me!

Instructor: Ally Puffenburger
Ally Puffenburger is the creative spirit behind Featherweight Letters. While she works as a nurse by day, she loves to spend as much spare time as possible doodling and lettering to her heart’s content! She is a fan of Gilmore Girls, strong coffee, chalk paint, wild flowers, cozy spaces, and heart-to-heart talks. She and her husband Bobby live locally in Evington, and enjoy creating art and lettering projects together. She is so excited to meet you, and share with you a little of her passion for creating something truly beautiful!
