We’re celebrating Harry Potter Book Night at the Montvale Library! * February 2nd 2017 *

February 2nd 2017 will see the third annual Harry Potter Book Night celebrated throughout the world. Here at the Montvale Library, we’re getting ready to host an unforgettable night. The fun kicks off at 5pm.

On Harry Potter Book Night, we’ll be sharing the wonder of J.K. Rowling’s unforgettable stories and, most excitingly, introducing the next generation of readers to the unparalleled magic of Harry Potter. Here at the Montvale Library, young wizards, witches, and Muggles will be treated to an evening of games, activities, readings, and quizzes. It all begins when you walk through the brick wall behind The Leaky Caldron and enter Diagon Alley. From there you can take pictures in your dress robes in “Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions” photo booth, find your way through the giant Maze, delight in Honeydukes’ treats, and participate in the Hogwarts Hall of Fame Quiz!

Katie Hoffman, the Montvale Library Branch Manager says, ‘We are so excited to be joining up with other libraries, schools, bookshops, and community centers throughout the United States, the UK – and indeed the world – to celebrate the third annual Harry Potter Book Night. We hope to continue the tradition in the years to come.’

Registration required, space is limited.
