16tjp1416_salon-series-religious-freedom_forweb-450x256Explore the lives that have lived just a heartbeat away from the highest office in the land, as a part of this timely and thought-provoking discussion on the history and the contemporary state of the Office of the Vice President.

Join Longwood University President W. Taylor Reveley, IV, together with Dr. Bill Harbour, a Longwood University associate professor of political science, in the dining room of Mr. Jefferson’s retreat house, for a lively conversation on the ever-evolving Office of the Vice President, with an emphasis on modern candidates and officeholders. Our speakers will also share their thoughts and reflections on the sole vice presidential debate of the 2016 election, held October 4 at Longwood University, and viewed by an audience of millions.

A reception of wine and light appetizers to follow. Admission for the talk is $15 or $10 for college students with a valid student id. Reservations are required due to limited space available. Make your reservation today by purchasing tickets below or by calling the Museum Shop at 434.534.8120.
