Night Hike at Claytor Nature Center

This program will give you the opportunity to experience the outdoors after dark and to learn about local owl natural history and conservation. you may see and hear owls and other animals that are not often encountered in the daytime. Learn owl calls and how to confidently identify all Virginia owls by sound!
The hike will be about a mile with frequent breaks. No flashlights or cell phone lights will be permitted, as they interfere with night vision and some of the experiments. It will be dusk when you begin and dark by the time the hike concludes. This program is appropriate for children 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cost is $7 per person or $5 with Otter Romp membership program.
