Russ Voelker
“My life experiences were varied from an early age. Raised a “military brat,” three years in one location was exceptional. So, my impressions of life are derived from a myriad of faces, places, and adventures. After graduating from Utah State, I embarked on a path as an art director and marketing executive. Now, with my career tucked away in my younger past, I embrace art as a course of contentment. I take my visions and experiences from my life’s journey and blend them with a seasoned imagination and … well, to just have fun with a brush!”

Randy Marling
“Although I studied art in college, my practice as an artist kicked in the day I retired. As a mature adult, I have learned my craft through painting classes, workshops, and collaboration with artist friends. I am inspired by the outdoors and enjoy painting sights from the roadside and in the countryside. My hiking has provided me with a sense of color and values and I paint with my vision of what I’ve seen.”
Destination Bedford offers big, bold and unforgettable experiences. You’ll see stunning beauty in the Blue Ridge Mountains and hear stories of bravery that will take your breath away at the National D-Day Memorial.
