Summer Speaking Event – About the 1st Speaker Todd Marcum

Todd Marcum will be the first speaker of our Summer Speaking Event this year. Mr. Marcum will be here Saturday, May 10th from 3:00 to 4:15pm. He will be giving a 45 minute presentation with PowerPoint that discusses the fascinating stories of baseball cards and their connection to the war effort and society. After the presentation he will be answering any questions you might have as well as selling some of his book, “Baseball Cards At The Edge of War” which is a book that explores the unique intersection of America’s pastime and the global events of the World War era.

Mr. Marcum lives in Roanoke, Virginia and works as a marketing consultant and creator. He grew up in Wayne County, West Virginia. His first novel published was “Way Out Wayne”.

Tickets are $10 for adults and kids are free.
