The Cause: Pedal for Pets

The Friends of the Bedford County Animal Shelter have joined forces with Parks and Recreation to host a ride & run to support for these adorable animals in need! 100% of proceeds go towards saving and caring for homeless pets and finding their furever home! This a family fun adventure weekend with trails, tails, and ales!

The Course:

Bedford County is home to some of the best gravel in Virginia! Each course highlights the best views, the most gravel, with the most FUN! Each course gives riders a unique experience with distances for all fitness levels. Each route averages about 100 ft. per mile in elevation gain.

We have multiple aid stations, noted on the GPS routes and they will be fully stocked with food and drinks! Our friends at Pickle Juice have got us covered and we will have their supplements at every aid station! https://picklepower.com/

The course will be marked with white directional arrow signs. You must use a GPS device to navigate the course, that is the sure fire way to stay on course. You can use your phone and download the RIDEWITHGPS or STRAVA app for FREE and then download the routes below or even better go visit your local bike shop and buy a GPS unit, they are amazing!
