Unnatural Walk- Kids Walk at Claytor Nature Center

  • This event has passed.

August 11, 2021 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Discover how materials break down and become soil! Dead plants and animals add to the soil and make it healthy and nutritious! Man-made materials are often slow to decompose and can hurt animals in the meantime. This is why packing out litter is so important! Come for a walk to learn about how healthy soil is formed and to collect unnatural objects.
This program is designed for early learners, ages 3-5 years.
The program will take place at the pavilion and on the trails. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
