The USA Patriots, formerly known as the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team, will be returning to Bedford as part of their Virginia Tour for a special game on Friday evening, May 3 at 6 p.m.  This is a free event for kids and adults of all ages.  Bring your family and friends to watch an exciting 7 inning game against a local team.  Game will be played at the Bedford Moose Lodge, field #1.

 The USA Patriots are comprised of competitive, athletic veterans who have lost limbs in combat and non-combat related accidents.  Some are still in service; others are attending college thanks to the Post-9/11 GI Bill while others have moved on to new careers.  The team travels the country playing able-bodied teams in competitive and exhibition softball games, bringing their special brand of softball, courage, and inspiration.
