Have you ever wondered why some animals look a little odd or display unusual behaviors? These strange characteristics could be unique survival tools!
Come to Claytor Nature Center to learn about a few of these weird and wonderful animal adaptations.  Their explorations will take you down to the river, through the meadows, and into the heart of the forest to find new animals and attempt to discover how their seemingly strange adaptations have practical functions.
The program will take place at several locations along the trail system. Expect to walk about 1 mile over varying terrain. Activities and content are geared towards children ages 6-12.
