Bedford Boys Tribute Center
Located in historic downtown Bedford, Virginia, the Bedford Boys Tribute Center is a nonprofit museum dedicated to telling the powerful story of the Bedford Boys, the local soldiers who landed on D-Day, June 6, 1944, during World War II. Their extraordinary sacrifice is a defining part of Bedford’s history and is closely connected to the nearby National D-Day Memorial.
Visitors experience the story through a guided tour that shares the history of the young men from Bedford who served in the invasion of Normandy. Admission includes the opportunity to view personal artifacts and effects of the Bedford Boys, generously loaned by their families, offering a moving and personal connection to the soldiers behind the story.
The Tribute Center is an important stop for those interested in World War II history, D-Day heritage, and Bedford attractions. Open daily.
Closed Mondays during December, January, and February.
