Take your camper to one of Bedford’s RV parks and enjoy Smith Mountain Lake, the Peaks of Otter Mountains or just some quality family time. The Bedford Area Welcome Center also offers RV parking with full hookup for $25 a night. If you want a RV park that has a swimming pool, then Sweetwater RV Park is the place for you! Mitchell’s Point Marina & RV Park has waterfront sites so you can enjoy the view of Smith Mountain Lake straight from your camper!
Don’t have an RV but still want to experience the great outdoors? Then pack your tent and spend the weekend at one of Bedford’s camping sites! Camp Karma is a great place to camp and while you are there you can enjoy fishing and swimming in Goose Creek. This campground offers peace, tranquility and mountain views. Smith Mountain Lake State Park has 25 different tent sites, grills, camp fires, hot showers, and cabins to rent just in case you need some time indoors! You can also enjoy fishing, hiking, biking trails, a RV park and a beach area. The Sedalia Center is a fantastic place for camping! They offer RV and tent camping, along with shower and restroom facilities. When festivals start back up, this will be the perfect place to spend the weekend!
