Everything is Peachy in Bedford!

Summer is prime peach season and the perfect time for you to visit Gross’ Orchard! With so much to offer, you can find fresh fruit, jams, cider, and more!
This family owned and operated business is located at the foot of the beautiful Peaks of Otter and only 8 miles from historic downtown Bedford. Gross’ Orchard is the perfect place to pick your own produce straight from the tree or you can select already picked fruit from the store. Their specialties are mountain grown peaches and apples. Enjoy a picnic and a stroll through the orchards with gorgeous mountain views!
 
During the month of July, Gross’ Orchard has peach-related events every weekend! These include u-pick days, live music, carriage rides through the orchard, food vendors and much more! For event details and dates, keep reading!
 
You can also find peaches and lots of other fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables at one of the farmers markets in Bedford! The Bedford Farmers Market located in downtown Bedford is open every Friday morning and second Saturday of the month. The Forest Farmer’s Market located at the Forest Library is open every Saturday morning. The new Smith Mountain Lake Farmers Market is open every Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
